- Subsequent misfortunes of the Kennedy family to create sympathy
- Film and TV portrayals spanning various decades
- “Celebrity president”- effect of being the first tv president and the subsequent use of his image as an icon in the media.
-Effect of assassination on public opinion including mystery of conspiracy theories
- Post Kennedy situation in America and reputations of following presidents
- Speeches and propaganda
- His potential – the type of politician he was and the time scale successes might take. (Whether this is comparable to Obama)
Other Action to be taken
Contact American Universities for potential professors to interview. – beginning of July
Do an American History course search to see if there are courses of a similar theme which may suggest other factors research – within the next week
Organise regular meetings with my supervisor– throughout project
Decide upon most significant factors to put into essay so I don’t write more than the word limit. –throughout project
Write a draft essay –last 2 weeks of August
Have people comment on draft - Beginning of September
Amend draft until happy – Finished by Christmas
A presentation complete by February 2012
Pick material to include in speech – straight after resits in January 2012
Have someone check speech – end of January
Make presentation to accompany speech – February
